  1. Perception is a tricky think. I don’t believe there is a right or wrong perception. It is merely the way one view the world with the information and knowledge one is aware of at that particular time. But perceptions are not finite. They evolve and change as we receive more information, and process this new knowledge.
Give yourself time and grace to process this new information you’ve received. Sometimes is takes time to process new knowledge, especially if the info is huge and, in a sense, revolutionary. It’s OK to change your perception. It’s OK to not go back to the “old normal”, when the new information dictates otherwise. It’s how we evolve as people and as a society.
New information can certainly change our entire world, even flip it upside down. But sometimes, we realize that the our world needs to have a huge overhaul. That our life needs to change due to this new knowledge. Change is more likely the problem you are struggling with. Change is very scary, difficult and takes work. It requires walking down an unfamiliar path, unsure what it will look like, what will come at you, and whether the end will be the desired destination you are hoping for. Don’t let these changes defeat you, though. Find your inner strength to carry on, keep a positive attitude and take one step at a time. I assure you, no matter what happens, it will all be worth it in the end. You’ll see.
Good to hear from you, though. I hope you are feeling better, soon.
